She's one of those artists who make up the musical and cultural heritage of a country (and our world, man!). The Colombian singer-guitarist-author-digger-dj-composer has been vibrating with meaning and sound for over 20 years. Since the 90s and her first band Pepa Fresa, Jimena Angel has never stopped discovering and opening up new sonic avenues, learning and understanding Colombian (and other) rhythms, to the point of revisiting and surprising them. Whether with Teto Ocampo or Ivan Benavides, the Alerta Kamarad group or the Sidestepper project, she's been living and vibrating with music for so many years that she's overflowing with it.
